As part of the measures taken by the Cyprus government to support companies / businesses affected by the restrictive measures imposed to limit the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Cyprus Registrar of Companies announces the following:
1.4th Companies Compliance Campaign pursuant to the submission of outstanding Annual Reports:
The process of publication in the Cyprus Government Gazette for the three months’ notice prior to the deregistration of non-compliant companies from the Register of the Cyprus Registrar of Companies, is suspended until January 2021.
2.Payment of the annual levy (€350)
The date of payment of the annual fee for 2020 is extended until 31st of December 2020, without the additional charge of 10% and 30%.
3.Imposition of a fee for late submission of forms to the Cyprus Registrar of Companies
In co-operation with the House of Representatives, the imposition of the administrative fines by the Registrar of Companies to companies failing to submit certain forms and/or changes within the specified time will be postponed until 2021.
4.Submission of the Annual Report for 2020
The submission of the annual report to the Cyprus Registrar of Companies drafted from 1st of January 2020 to 31st of December 2020, will be extended until 28th of January 2021, with no additional charge of €20 imposed for late submission.
