Sotiris Pafitis

Associate

Sotiris has graduated from the University of Leeds in 2020 with a First Class degree in law. In 2021 he obtained an LLM in Legal Practice and was also called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn.

In 2022, following the successful completion of his training at our firm, he was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association whilst also starting his doctoral studies at the University of Tilburg, Department of Public Law and Governance. His doctoral thesis focuses on academic freedom of expression. He publishes regularly in international academic journals and blogs on matters concerning cryptoassets, money laundering, and freedom of expression. 

His current practice centres around the areas of regulatory, and data protection as well as banking litigation.
