Sponsorship to Law School Students
Our firm strongly supports students’ initiatives to enhance their skills and knowledge in the legal sciences. Thus, aiming to motivate more young students to participate in competitions, this year it chose to sponsor the University of Nicosia’s Law School to participate in the 18th International Mediation Competition for Law Schools, organized by INADR (USA) in Athens, that was held between 14-17.03.2019.
The mediation tournament involved a two-day training and a two-day competition, in which each member represented a client, an advocate and a mediator in three different cycles.
The competition was attended by 54 teams from all over the world and this was the first time a team represented Cyprus. We believe that participation in such tournaments helps students obtain a deeper understanding of mediation and client- advocate relationship, which in turn helps them advance their future careers, promote their University and essentially Cyprus.
